Willougbhy Sprig is a chamber folk band from Zionsville, Indiana. Starting in 2009 by classically trained brothers Christopher and Nicholas Burrus, the group expanded in 2012 to include percussionist Jordan Stout and multi-instrumentalist Joe Mynhier. The band uses an eclectic repertoire of instruments, including viola da gamba, harmonium, hurdy gurdy, and stump fiddle. Playing a combination of original music and traditional tunes, the band describes their music in terms of the imagery that inspires them: old bridges, fine ships, hootenannies, tweed, and phantoms.
